7:22 Others will then answer, ¹  ‘Because they abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors, ²  who led them out of Egypt. They embraced other gods whom they worshiped and served. ³  That is why he brought all this disaster down on them.’”

2 Tawarikh 25:16

25:16 While he was speaking, Amaziah ⁴  said to him, “Did we appoint you to be a royal counselor? Stop prophesying or else you will be killed!” ⁵  So the prophet stopped, but added, “I know that the Lord has decided ⁶  to destroy you, because you have done this thing and refused to listen to my advice.”

34:31 The king stood by his pillar ⁷  and renewed ⁸  the covenant before the Lord, agreeing to follow ⁹  the Lord and to obey his commandments, laws, and rules with all his heart and being, ¹⁰  by carrying out the terms ¹¹  of this covenant recorded on this scroll.
